07-18-08 - FILED LAWSUIT AGAINST IKEA
I filed this lawsuit exactly two years after the date of injury. I tried everything to settle this out of court, but in order to keep the statute of limitations from expiring I filed it myself at the courthouse.
07-21-08 - CALL FROM IKEA ATTORNEY
I received a call from Jeffrey Myles Lenkov of the law firm Manning & Marder. Mr. Lenkov's intimidation tactics seemed that of overcompensation. He ranted asserting several false claims, so it was obvious that he knew little about the facts. I let him go on and on, then when I was able to slip a word in I told him that I would not tolerate his obnoxious tone, and I will hang up if he is unable to be respectfully. Jeff Lenkov stated that he was IKEA's attorney and investigating the threats I made to Susan Plotts and DJ Gibbons, and he is going to serve me a subpoena if I don't talk to him. He then clarified that my threat was actually that I would sue them. I told Jeff Lenkov that he was incorrect, and his use of the word threat was even more inappropriate. The truth is that I have tried to avoid taking legal action for two years giving IKEA every chance in the world to pay my medical bills. Susan Plotts was the one who went on record suggesting I sue IKEA, and that was right before she hung up on me. DJ Gibbons never returned my calls since Susan Plotts was his boss.

Jeff Lenkov's situation manipulation was not working, so he started asking/telling me about the website and how much trouble there will be if I didn't remove IKEA's name link. Then this so-called attorney slipped down to name calling and telling me that I am psycho and need therapy. I asked Lenkov if that was his professional opinion, and he just kept going on like a fourth grader. The people sitting with me listening looked disgusted, so I told Council Lenkov that I will report his abuse to the California Bar Association, and he should never call me again. As I was in the motion of hanging up, he mentioned that he had my address.

Did IKEA really have Attorney Jeffrey Lenkov call to rough me up? Why would a company of their size contract this childish unprofessional to call me, and what were they hoping to accomplish? Please give me some feedback folks.

07-25-08 - EMAIL FROM IKEA's GIANT LAW FIRM
Three days later and I received an email from Jeffrey Lenkov of the law firm Manning & Marder, Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez LLP Attorneys at Law complaining about our IKEA public website forum. They write "you have not paid any fee to IKEA for said right nor have you received a license. Therefore, we demand that you immediately cease and desist using any link on your website to any IKEA product or website."

I guess we'll see how far they want to keep pushing in the wrong direction. It's rare to see big corporations admit when they are wrong, especially when they can pay so many attorneys to disguise the truth and underlying cause. We don't need a license to expose IKEA's continued abuse toward me, nor their unacceptable safety standards that sent me to the hospital.

Jeffrey Lenkov also claims that my comments regarding his telephone call are "not only extremely bizarre but are also defamatory". He goes on to say "I am putting you on notice that should you make any false statements regarding my law firm, myself and/or IKEA, we will take prompt legal action against you."

Then in the very next paragraph he says "I demand that you immediately remove said comments from your website. If you do not, I will pursue legal action against you for wrongful conduct." WRONGFUL CONDUCT ??? Wake up Jeffrey!!! You are supposed to be the professional here. Several people heard your rantings and personal health insults to me over my speaker phone, and they intend to sign declarations stating so. Does IKEA pay you extra to make an ass of yourself on their behalf? Just cut the crap right here and now.

I hope you are billing IKEA for everything you can possibly get. Everyone knows that the only winners are usually the attorneys, and no amount of lawyering will change the recorded facts. I welcome you, your law firm, or IKEA to take any legal actions against me. I do have plenty of supporters, and since they are not terminally ill like me, I will respect their privacy. Especially any legal council to avoid peer conflicts or manipulation.

Even while you have only added insult to injury, I would like to thank you for helping draw attention to this ridicules dialog. Traffic seems to be growing exponentially and I now I am going to be interviewed as well. You either know nothing about the facts in this case, or else you are pretending so. Maintaining a buffer of ignorance may be some legal loophole, but it's much harder to get things resolved. Take your time, and when IKEA decides to have an honest attorney take over, only then may we get somewhere.

I have been in contact with many who have personally experience with the dangers that I have warned the public about. It might be time to rethink your legal strategies. Your continued disrespect is ultimately costing both yours and IKEA's reputation. Today is Friday and I wish you a pleasant weekend. ~The sick guy who needs therapy
08-06-08 - WRONGFULLY BANNED FROM IKEA
Several friends took me to IKEA for breakfast, and to meet our friend who just turned 92. Upon entering the restaurant I instinctively saw a chair falling apart as always, so I took out my digital cam and snapped a few photos. I planned to inspect the other chairs after eating, but during breakfast we were approached by three large people. A rookie manager Christopher, a massive blonde, and a 6.5' bouncer who looked really pissed. They barged in on us and asked that I step away from the table, but I insisted that they speak to me in front of my friends.

Christopher's initial claim was that I had exchanged inappropriate comments with staff at the food counter. This was totally false, so I asked him if he had an audio recording. His response was no, so I asked what I was accused of saying. Christopher said that it didn't matter because a decision had already been made that I was to leave and not return.

I asked Christopher if he was aware that I am in a lawsuit with IKEA, and he answered that a lawsuit was further reason to leave. This scene attracted the attention of other customers who had seen everything, and they too questioned the manager's motives. Christopher eventually admitted that this action was because of something other than what he first accused.

We quietly left without incident, and the bouncer stood in the doorway watching us until we drove away. I always record everything, because when you challenge deceptive leadership who care only about their jobs, you must find ways to preserve the truth. IKEA records every move of their shoppers, but when they abuse customers, it's not likely that IKEA will share that with you. Always preserve the facts with a digital recording, because liars can slant reports for their benefit. Today they were once again caught red handed.
